Last year, it was clear that providers in our rural communities were interested in how to care for families and adolescents struggling with addiction. We wanted to create a space separate from our families to allow providers to get the most out of this content while protecting the families in this process, too.
This is that content and we are so excited to welcome you!
The session will run on Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and include snacks, refreshments, and a lunch break. The counselors leading the workshops have extensive experience working with juveniles and families in complicated situations (including the juvenile detention systems), often deeply impacted by addiction and mental health-related issues. Their content is practical, applicable and easily adapted in many circumstances.
Please use the questions section of the registration process to indicate any specific circumstances for which you would like help or resources.
